It's performed by holding down the Wii Remote's B Button, and tapping the Nunchuk's Analog Stick toward the left or the right. To skillfully evade enemies, you can use the Quick Step. From a standstill, holding down Z will make Sonic get on his hands and knees, and you can crawl through the narrow space instead. If you reach an area where you're supposed to Slide in-game and you miss, you don't have to backtrack and try again. When you're getting close, tap the Z Button on the Nunchuk to slip through the opening. There'll be times where you're rapidly approaching a wall that's too tall to leap over, and too low to run beneath, and that's where the Slide comes in. The fifth tutorial teaches you how to use Slides. To complete this mission, run up to a collection of enemies and shake your Wii Remote rapidly to activate it.
